There are generally two types of IPOs offered – Fixed Price Offers and Book Building Offers. In fixed price, the issuers set a fixed price for each share. For Book Building, the issuers set a band with lower limits (called floor price) and upper limit (called capping price). The subscribers have the option to specify the price they are willing to pay for each share in this range.
