Did you know that the average person will spend six months of their life waiting for red lights to turn green?

It is estimated that the average person will spend approximately six months of their life waiting for red lights to turn green. This is based on the assumption that the average person drives for 30 minutes per day and that they spend an average of 75 seconds waiting at each red light.

According to a study by the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO), the average person spends about 20% of their driving time waiting at traffic lights. This means that if the average person drives for 30 minutes per day, they will spend about six minutes of that time waiting at red lights. Over a lifetime, this adds up to about 180 days or six months.
